A key observation of the ‘Sustainability Workshop’ held on 27th October at Six Senses, is that, while many of us are already implementing sustainable initiatives and practices, we lack effective connections. There is a need for a centralized platform to access information such as ‘green suppliers,’ practical advice on best practices, idea sharing, and more, with free access for all.

We are now working on developing a dedicated platform – a website – to bring together all aspects of our various ‘green’ initiatives under one roof so to speak.

The website will include the following: Database of ‘green suppliers’; Practical advice on best practices for a sustainable business; Existing and planned sustainable initiatives on the island both B2B and B2C;  ‘Green Events’ and related initiatives; Sustainable tourist activities; Government certifications and an Ideas and information sharing interactive platform.

FREE ACCESS to the website is open to everyone.

A key component will be the development of the ‘Green Suppliers Data-base‘ and to this end, we need YOUR HELP!

We are kicking things off with a simple Google Form  to build the database, you will also find a section called the ‘Parking Lot’ where you can submit green matters for which you are seeking solutions.

By populating the database with more contacts, our goal is  to facilitate useful connections.

Please take a few minutes to review the form, add your contacts and recommendations, their details, websites, best practices and so on. Please also share this form through your network on Koh Samui.

We thank you in advance for your time and support in helping us to build a better and more sustainable Samui moving forward. Link to the form: https://forms.gle/oN1psUDV96v3YDmW8
